I haven’t gotten my hands on one yet, but Pure Digital is making a Point and Shoot camcorder that is getting decent reviews. It apparently records up to 30 minutes of 640×480 MPEG4 video. It doesn’t upload wirelessly – yet – but based on this article it looks like their intent is to fill a void in the YouTube video creation market. I haven’t bought a CD in a while – I’m buying my music on iTunes these days. But yesterday I picked up Weird Al’s Straight Outta Lynwood. It’s a Sony BMG dual disc. And in two places it says this:The audio side of this CD does not conform to CD Specifications and therefore not all DVD and CD players will play the audio side of this disc.Amazing!Imagine buying other products that said this…This Windows software does not conform to Windows specifications and therefore not all Windows computers will run this software.-or-This gasoline does not conform to federal gasoline specifications and therefore it your car may not run with it.I must admit, Sony BMG has balls to take your money for something that “may not play”.
It nice to hear a number of mainstream news sources call out the President on his use of the phrase “the Democrat Party”. Perhaps if it is pointed out enough times it will change from being distasteful to just being silly, like the word “nukular”.

Dave has a post about fractional HTTP in your settop, and in your TV.Makes sense – fractional HTTP is the “remote control” of the new century. Done right, it will be scriptable too.
